How To Make A Cake Called "Kue Lumpur"..

Kue Lumpur is the one of Indonesia Traditional Cake. This cake wasn’t made from real mud but from the combination of coconut, potatoes and cake’s sweet taste is very fitting. This cake was so delicious and suitable enjoyed for breakfast or dessert.



Ingredients :

·         200 grams of potatoes that have been steamed and mashed
·         175 grams of wheat flour
·         375 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
·         100 grams of sugar
·         75 g Margarine
·         200 ml of water
·         5 grains of Eggs (5 Eggs)
·         3/4 teaspoon of  Vanilla
·         1/4 teaspoon of  Salt
·         100 grams Young Coconut
·         50 grams of Raisins

How to Make Kue Lumpur :


·         Heat the margarine until molten and then insert the water until boil.
·      Add flour, vanilla, sugar, salt, and potatoes. Mix until blended and smooth then lift it and cool it a while.
·         Add the eggs one by one while mix it.
·         Add a little coconut milk, mix it until mixed.
·       Pour the batter into the cake pan that has been heated before. And let half-baked then add the raisins and coconut.
·         Close the cake pan mold and wait until baked and lift it.


Tips when making Kue Lumpur:

1.      Choose potatoes that do not contain a lot of water.
2.      When baking, toaster pastries should not be oiled by using oil or margarine. But when heated filled it with shredded coconut. Do not forget to back and forth  the coconut. And When it started to dry, can be replaced with a new coconut.
3.      So it can be seen, put the filling material when the half-baked dough.
4.     The contents are not only have coconut and raisins, but you can replace it with the one you love. such as cheese, or fruit.
